This project required some significant planning. We needed to have a group shot of all the Residence Hall advisers as well as shots of each hall’s groups and individual portraits of all the advisers individually. I worked with my creative director, assistant photographer, and the volunteers to make a game plan of how we were going to move from shoot to shoot and how we could keep track of each individual and group.

Once the volunteers had assembled all the advisers, I took over the shoot from the temporary scaffold set up for the shoot. I had to make sure to manage the shot, keep things fun (it was a 90+ august afternoon with a bunch of rowdy college students), and get the shot done quickly. Not an easy task. In the end due to careful planning with the team and amazing volunteers we managed to complete the project in under two hours flawlessly. This day remains one of my proudest technical achievements.
